Remember to Bring these!

Have a 1/2" BINDER

Picture
It is important that you have a binder for your artwork.  Classroom space is limited, so your binder must be 1/2 an inch thick.
Remember, your binder ALWAYS stays in school - I would hate to have you loose your amazing photographs!

LINED PAPER

Picture
Students often take notes at the start of a project .  Mrs. Flatow does not provide paper for you so make sure to have your own.

Bring a PEN or PENCIL

Picture
After 7, 8, or 9 years of school, you should know that it is your responsibility to have something to write with in class.  If you don't have a pen or pencil then you are not prepared for class.

Don't forget a camera!!!

Picture
You don't need to bring in your camera most days, but you do need access to one for our class.  If you don't own one, you can borrow one from the MS 51 Photo program.

All of our cameras are Pentax K-1000 models but you can use any manual film camera.  For 7th & 8th graders, our DSLR Cameras are Canon Rebels.  If you have your own DSLR, any brand will do!

If you want to buy one, try one of these:

The prices are a little higher, but even the used cameras come with a guarantee!

Amazon

If you feel confident that you've found your camera, Amazon Prime is always a fast way to get your camera!

Ebay

It's a gamble, but I've purchased great working cameras at a very low price!
